What is AI Humaniser and how does it work?

AI Humaniser rewrites AI-generated text so it reads more like a person wrote it. It works on the patterns detectors and readers both notice: it varies sentence length instead of leaving every sentence the same size, removes the vocabulary large language models overuse (delve, leverage, robust, "it's worth noting"), replaces formal connectors with ordinary ones, and adds contractions and direct address. The meaning stays the same; the rhythm and word choice change. It is useful if you drafted with ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini and the result reads stiff. It is not a way to make AI-written work into your own work, and it will not add facts, sources or original thinking that were not there to begin with.

Will humanized text pass GPTZero, Turnitin or Originality.ai?

We cannot promise that, and you should not trust any tool that does. Detectors score statistical properties like predictability and sentence-length variation, they disagree with each other on the same passage, they change without notice, and they are wrong in both directions. Rewriting for genuine variation and specificity usually lowers an AI score, because those are the properties being measured, but "usually lowers" is not "will pass". We have not run a controlled benchmark against GPTZero, Turnitin, Originality.ai or any other detector, so we publish no bypass percentage. What we do give you is our own AI detector inside the tool, free, so you can see how a rewrite scores before you use it, and a blog post explaining why humanizers fail.

Is AI Humaniser free? What are the limits?

Yes. You can run it 2 times a day with no account (up to 250 words each). A free account raises that to 3 runs a day and 500 words. Pro removes both limits. No credit card is needed to start.

What does the $5/month plan add?

Accepted Answer

Pro removes the daily run limit and the word limit on every free tool, raises the AI detector to 2,000 words per scan, and unlocks the tools that are not on the free tier: plagiarism checker, citation generator, content expander, essay writer and bulk processor. It also unlocks all five tone styles and all humanization strength levels, and lets you save texts to your account. It is $5 a month or $45 a year, billed through Stripe, and you can cancel at any time from Settings.

Is my text stored or used to train models?

No API route on this site writes the text you submit to a database. It is sent to the model that processes it, the result is returned to you, and nothing is kept. The one exception is the save button on Pro accounts, which stores a text because you asked it to, and which you can delete. We do not use your text to train anything and we do not sell or share it. What we do not claim: we are a small operation, not an audited enterprise vendor, so we make no certification claims. Read the Privacy Policy for what is actually collected, and do not paste anything genuinely sensitive into any online tool, including this one.

What languages does it support?

English only, in practice. The prompts, the AI-word list and the detector's scoring are all built around English, and results in other languages are unreliable. We are not going to promise a roadmap of languages with dates we cannot commit to. If you need another language today, the honest answer is that this is not the right tool for it yet.

How long does a rewrite take?

Accepted Answer

Usually a few seconds for a few hundred words. It depends on the length of your text and on how busy the model provider is at that moment, so it varies, and occasionally it will be slower than that. There is no separate priority queue: Pro and free requests go to the same place. If a request hangs or errors, try again rather than assuming it went through.

Can I use this for university essays and assignments?

Only within your institution's rules, and those rules vary widely. Some universities permit AI for brainstorming and drafting with disclosure, some require disclosure only for certain assignments, and some prohibit AI-generated submissions entirely. Check your course handbook and your assignment brief before you use any AI tool, including this one. Uses that are defensible almost everywhere: tightening prose you wrote yourself, fixing grammar, generating citations, rephrasing your own notes. The use that is not defensible anywhere is passing off an essay you did not write as your own work, and rewriting it so it reads human does not change that.

How much text can I process at once?

Without an account, 250 words per run. With a free account, 500 words. Pro removes the per-run limit. The AI detector scans up to 500 words per scan for free and 2,000 words on Pro. For anything longer, split it into sections and run them one at a time. That usually produces a better result anyway, because the model keeps context better over a few hundred words than over several thousand.

Does it work with text from ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and others?

Accepted Answer

Yes. It targets patterns common to large language models in general, not a signature belonging to one product, so text from ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Copilot or any other assistant is handled the same way. That also means it has no special knowledge of which model produced your text, and makes no claim to remove any model-specific watermark.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Go to Settings and open the subscription section, which takes you to Stripe's billing portal, and cancel there. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for, so you keep Pro access until then and are not charged again. After that your account reverts to the free tier and your saved texts stay where they are. There is no cancellation fee and you can resubscribe later.

What payment methods do you accept?

Payments are handled entirely by Stripe, so whatever Stripe supports for your country and card works here, which covers the major credit and debit cards and the wallet payments Stripe offers at checkout. Card details go to Stripe and are never stored on our servers. Billing is in USD.

Question 13

Do you offer refunds?

Accepted Answer

There is no published refund guarantee, and we would rather say that plainly than advertise one we have not written into the Terms. If something goes wrong, email hello@codestreaks.com and we will look at it case by case. The reason the free tier exists is so you can judge whether the tool is any good before paying for it, which is a better protection than a guarantee.

How do I make AI writing read more like a person wrote it?

Most of it is rhythm and specificity, and you can do it by hand. Vary sentence length hard: put a four-word sentence next to a thirty-word one, and never leave three similar-length sentences in a row. Cut the vocabulary models lean on, such as delve, leverage, robust, comprehensive, moreover, furthermore, "it's worth noting" and "in today's fast-paced world". Use contractions, address the reader as you, and start the occasional sentence with And or But. Replace generic statements with a concrete detail, a number, a date or a name, which is the single change that does most of the work, because vague confident prose is the most recognisable AI habit. Then read it aloud. Our AI words finder highlights the flagged vocabulary for you, and the humanizer does the rhythm pass, but neither can supply the specifics; only you know those.

Is using an AI humanizer cheating?

It depends entirely on what you are using it for. Tidying prose you wrote yourself is the same class of help as a grammar checker. Rewriting an essay you did not write so that it reads as though you did is dishonest, and the fact that a tool performed the rewrite does not change that. The dividing line is whether the thinking is yours. If you generated the ideas, did the reading and formed the argument, using a tool to express it more clearly is ordinary. If a model produced the ideas and the tool is there to conceal that, it is not, whatever the detector says afterwards.

How does this compare to Undetectable AI, StealthWriter or HIX Bypass?

We have not run a head-to-head benchmark against them, so we are not going to publish one, and we would treat any competitor's comparison table with the same suspicion. What we can state factually: Pro is $5 a month, the free tier works without an account, and the paid plan includes the other writing tools listed on the pricing page rather than a humanizer alone. Whether the output suits you is something a few minutes on the free tier answers better than a comparison table written by us. Can AI detectors be 100% accurate?

No, and the vendors do not claim they are. Detectors score statistical properties that correlate with machine-written text but do not prove authorship, which means human writing can be flagged and machine writing can be missed. Turnitin's own published figures illustrate the gap: it claimed a false positive rate under 1 percent at document level in April 2023, then in June 2023 published a sentence-level false positive rate of roughly 4 percent, and noted that the document-level figure applied only to documents already scoring 20 percent or more AI writing. Formulaic academic style, technical writing and non-native English all raise the false-positive risk, and different detectors routinely disagree about the same passage. Treat any score as one input, not a verdict. If you are wrongly accused, ask what tool was used, on what version, and what its published error rate is.
